Aduvee Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Aduvee is a one-on-one video chat at aduvee.cam. To connect calls, show the online list and keep your coins in the right place, we have to handle some information about you. This page lists what that is, what we use it for, who else is involved and what you can ask us to do. Questions go to [email protected].

1. Who and what this policy covers

It covers everyone who uses aduvee.cam: guests and signed-in users, in a browser or from a home-screen shortcut. It starts applying when the site first loads, because that is when a guest identity is created so that matching can work without a sign-up form.

“Aduvee”, “we” and “us” in this policy mean the team that runs aduvee.cam.

2. What you give us

  • Your guest identity and the display name that comes with it, plus anything you choose to add to a profile later, such as photos, a short bio or your languages.
  • Messages you send, including text, photos and voice messages, and gifts you send in chats or live rooms.
  • Who you follow and who you block.
  • Reports you file about other users, with the reason, the note you write and any screenshots you attach.
  • Emails you send to support and anything attached to them.
  • Records of coin and VIP purchases: what was bought, when, the amount and the reference from the payment provider. Your card details are handled by that provider, not stored by us.

3. What is collected as you use the site

  • Device and browser details such as type, version, language and screen size.
  • Your IP address and the approximate country it points to. We use this for matching, for showing the right content and for spotting abuse.
  • Activity on the service: when matches start and end, which match type you chose (video, audio or text), calls placed from profiles, live rooms you open, and similar events that keep the service running.
  • Cookies and local storage in your browser that keep your guest session, settings and preferences between visits.

4. Calls, messages and live rooms

To connect a video or audio call, your picture and sound have to pass through the service to the other person. Messages are delivered and stored so both of you can see the conversation. Comments in a live room are shown to everyone in that room.

Whatever you show or say reaches another person, who can see it, hear it and remember it. No website can control what someone does on their own device, including taking screenshots. Think about that before you share anything personal.

5. What other people can see

Other users can see your display name, the photo and details you put on your profile, whether you are online, and the country and languages shown on your card. If you post to the feed or to your profile tabs, those posts are visible to people who open your profile.

They cannot see your email address, your payment details, your IP address or who you have blocked. The people you follow can see that you follow them, the same way you can see your own followers.

6. Why we use your information

  • To run the service: create your guest identity, match you, connect calls, deliver messages and show the online list and the video feed.
  • To keep your follows, messages, coins and VIP status attached to your account.
  • To handle payments and answer questions about them.
  • To look into reports, enforce the community guidelines and protect people from fraud and abuse.
  • To fix problems and understand which parts of the site work well, using activity data.
  • To meet legal obligations that apply to us.

7. Who else is involved

Some parts of Aduvee are run with help from other companies: hosting and content delivery, the systems that carry calls, payment processing and email. They receive only what they need to do that job and may not use it for anything else.

We don’t sell what we know about you to anyone. We may share information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect someone from serious harm.

8. How long Aduvee holds on to information

We keep information for as long as your account or guest session is in use and for a reasonable time after that, for example to deal with payment questions, reports or legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or made anonymous.

9. Your choices

  • Use Aduvee as a guest and share as little as you like.
  • Edit or remove what is on your profile at any time.
  • Turn off cookies in your browser, although some features, such as staying signed in, may stop working.
  • Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data, by writing to [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject line.

10. Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to use Aduvee, or older still if the age of majority where you live is higher. We don’t knowingly collect anything from people under that age. If you believe a minor is using the site, report the profile or email us.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Bigger changes will also be pointed out on the site.
