Sofi from Venezuela — Aduvee features
Sofi from Venezuela

Random video match

The main event. Open the match screen, tap Start random chat, and Aduvee pairs you with one person on camera. If it clicks, keep talking. If it doesn't, tap Next and someone new appears. You can see what happens from the first tap to the last when you follow one match from start to finish.

A random match is one of three ways into a private call. The other two, calling from a profile or going one-on-one from a live room, are compared side by side for anyone who wants a call with just the two of you.

Audio and text match

Some nights you don't feel like being on camera. At the bottom of the match screen there's a switch with three options: Video, Audio and Text. Pick Audio and you're matched by voice only; pick Text and you type. Both are good warm-ups for people who find the first second on camera the hardest part.

There is a whole page for those who would rather say hello by text or voice before showing their face, including a few opening lines that don't sound copied.

Who's online, and how do its tabs work?

Who's online is the list of people on Aduvee right now, shown as photo cards with a country flag and the languages each person speaks. The tabs at the top sort it as Popular, Online, New and Following, and a row of language tabs narrows it to English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and others.

The language tabs are the reason this list matters so much for anyone who wants to talk with women in other countries and other time zones. Pick a language you share and the first minute gets a lot easier.

Profiles: message her, or call her on video

Tap any card and you land on a profile with three buttons: Message, Video chat and Follow. Below them, the Media, Posts and Private tabs show what she has shared. A profile is the only place to call one specific person, so it's where most planned calls start.

The menu in the corner holds Share, Report and Block. If you're wondering what those last two do and when to use them, there's a page that answers the question of whether Aduvee is safe to use.

Can you watch live rooms on Aduvee?

Yes. Live rooms are in the Live tab of the video feed. Tap a room to watch, write comments that everyone in the room sees, send gifts, and go one-on-one with the person who's live straight from the room. Watching is all you do there: users can't start a live stream of their own.

A live room is a good way to get a feel for someone before you call. When you do, the call itself works like any other, so a quick check of your camera, mic and connection helps here too.

The video feed

The feed is a vertical stream of short videos with tabs for Recommend, Private, Following, Live and Hot. Each video has the person's name and online status, and buttons to call her or chat. It works on a phone the way any short-video app does, which is why many people keep it on the home screen and use Aduvee like an installed app.

Following

Follow someone and she shows up in your Following tabs, both in the online list and in the feed. It's the simplest way to find a person again after a good call, and from there her profile is one tap away. Follows stay with your account, which is one of the reasons people decide to sign in after starting as a guest.

Messages

Messages open from any profile. The chat window has a Follow button and buttons for a video or audio call at the top, and at the bottom you can type, send photos, record voice messages and send gifts.

Messages follow the same rules as calls. The house rules for calls, messages and live rooms are short, and they're worth two minutes of your time.

How do coins and VIP fit in?

Coins are the site's currency. You get some free matches before you need any, and after that coins pay for matching and for gifts. You top up in the coin wallet. VIP is a monthly plan that adds coins each month, a VIP badge and the option to show or hide your level and VIP status.

If you only want to know where the free part ends, read what stays free and what costs coins. For top-ups, balances and the VIP details, there's a page on coins and VIP in plain words.
